A pair of dangerous wildfires were burning in Napa County early Monday morning, prompting firefighters to evacuate hillside neighborhoods as they sought to halt the advance of the flames amid high winds. The Napa County Sheriff’s Office said late Sunday that all residents of Soda Canyon northeast of the city of Napa and the Silverado Trail should leave their homes. An evacuation center was set up at CrossWalk Community Church at 2590 First St. in Napa. Cal Fire, the state agency, said the Atlas Fire was in the area of Atlas Peak Road and had blackened at least 200 acres by 11 p.m. Sunday.
